Margi Fields was sworn in on Thursday, April 24 as the Official Postmaster of the Mokelumne Hill Post Office. Family, friends, Sierra Postmasters and co-workers gathered at the Post Office for the ceremony and lunch.
If you get a chance be certain to stop by the PO and thank Margi for the remarkable job she has done at the Post Office!...and congratulate her on her new position.

The MH Community Trust has received gifts from James Aarons, Sam Chastain and Pamela Hill in memory of Richard "Dick" Tassara with whom they served on The Mokelumne Hill Sanitary Board.

All the libraries have been closed this past week to upgrade the circulation system. Items returned Jan 22nd through Feb 5th will not be assessed fines. The new system will have a grace period for late items. Library customers can receive advance notification via e-mail that their library books, magazines, videos etc. are coming due in two days.
