Our regular Lions Club Breakfast Meeting begins at 8 am at the Moke Hill Town Hall.

The Mokelumne Hill Elementary school will be holding a Spaghetti Dinner to raise funds to help the 6th graders attend Science Camp next year. Great food & fabulous auction items - please join them and help support this great activity!

Poets Night
Come on in and support the arts and the Leger. Enjoy a casual dinner off the bistro menu and listen to local poetry and even share your own. Dinner begins at 5pm and the poetry reading fallows as 7:30pm.

The next meeting of the Mokelumne Hill History Society will be held at the Archive/Library at 4:30 PM on Tuesday March 4. Everyone with an interest in the town's history and heritage is encouraged to come and participate. Some of the items that will be discussed include:

Show Girls: On the Leger Hotel bar in 1958 are Carolyn Wagner, Marian Hewett, and Jackie Dell'Orto.Some pretty outlandish shows were put on by the Town's citizens between 1957 and 1960s. Costumes galore, 60 of our elders are caught in hilarious and charming poises by the camera of Carolyn Wagner.
