Sunday, April 27, 2008 heralds the 30th Annual Mother Lode "Hot Jazz Party" in Jackson, CA. Nine bands will be featured with music presented at six different venues/locations in Jackson. Proceeds of this event will benefit the ARC Program of Amador and Calaveras, as well as the Amador/Argonaut Band Boosters.

Everyone welcome - beginners to advanced students! In the Hotel Leger banquet room. Bring a sitting pillow and blanket if you'd like; bring a mat or borrow one of ours. More info, contact Sloane.

The next meeting of the Moke Hill Community Plan Task Force will be Monday May 19 at 6 PM at the Library/Archives. An initial draft of the Design Review Guidelines is posted here and will be the main topic of discussion. These guidelines would replace the Planned Development (PD) designation for the Historic District.
