Monday Night- Poetry reading at The Historic Hotel Leger. All are welcome to come and share your own unique writing, an old favorite, a new found treasure, or simply listen to others. Weekly dinner specials and bistro entrees are available beginning at 5pm, and the reading begins at 7:30pm.
Olga will be on a month-long retreat to learn more yoga-teaching skills, so no yoga in June. We'll be back at it the first Tuesday in July, though! You can also join us for t'ai chi' at 7pm throughout June. More info on t'ai chi' can be found here, or contact Sloane.
Steve Wilensky and Pat Noll want to invite all of you to join them at the Hotel Leger at 7:00 p.m. on June 3, Election Night. The hotel is usually closed on Tuesdays but is opening just for us. There will be a buffet dinner for all who want to eat and the bar will be open.
We will keep in contact with the Elections Department and wait for the returns.

On Saturday, May 3, the new Habitat for Humanity Calaveras Warehouse, a discount building materials reuse outlet store, opened in San Andreas at 172 California St. The Warehouse will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and every subsequent first Saturday of the month. Shoppers will receive huge discounts on building materials, light fixtures, paint, appliances and furniture.
