Sally Tuttle Named Female Volunteer of the Year!

The Calaveras Co. Commission on Aging has name Sally Tuttle the Female Volunteer of the Year in a ceremony attended by all County Supervisors. Sally was nominated by the AAUW, as was the Male Volunteer of the year, Tim Folenorf, of Angels Camp.

This is a big deal and we are proud to have our extraordinary Sally recognized!

We have the joy to let you know that the Rotary Club of Jackson won gold with our international Integrated Solar Cooking Project during the 2009 Rotary District Conference of District 5190 in Reno. Our "Teaching the Teachers" in Brazil during 12 weeks in 2008 was a success.

They have worked together on a variety of projects over the years and have continued to be fans and supporters of each others work. When Johnson started work on his latest work, The Brothers Bloom, he asked Ford to join him and make a video documentary of the making of the film in Europe.
