Sandra-Loree “Sandy” Hilderman died Thursday, Nov. 12, 2009, of cancer. She was 63.
Born June 1, 1946, Mrs. Hilderman grew up in Stockton. She met her husband, Rick, in high school and they were married March 27, 1966. They had two daughters, Alicia and Sally, both of whom died of cystic fibrosis.

The US Congress is about to get a new - and very progressive - member. John Garamendi has been elected tonight to represent the 10th Congressional district. Cody Robert Aguiar was born today, on his due date, at Sutter Amador Hospital to Cheri Garamendi and Joe Aguiar at 3:35 pm, weighing 6 lbs 12 oz and measuring 18 ½ inches long. Everyone is well and happy.
