Maliyah Mitsuye Klegseth !!!!!

Melissa (Komure) and Jeremy Klegseth are the very proud parents of their new baby girl, Maliyah Mitsuye Klegseth. She is 19",7 lbs 10 oz, and was born at 10:50 pm September 1st....

(editor's note- Maliyah has already demonstrated a marked tendency toward stubborness --which will surprise no one who knows her parents!)

Sally Tuttle Named Female Volunteer of the Year!

The Calaveras Co. Commission on Aging has named Sally Tuttle the Female Volunteer of the Year in a ceremony attended by all County Supervisors. Sally was nominated by the AAUW, as was the Male Volunteer of the year, Tim Folenorf, of Angels Camp.

This is a big deal and we are proud to have our extraordinary Sally recognized!

Jim Yocom passed away Thursday April 30. Services will be held at 1pm, Monday, May 11th at Daneri's Mortuary, located at (click for map:) 415 Broadway, Jackson, CA.

Graveside services will be held at the Protestant Cemetery in Mokelumne Hill, with reception to follow at his home, 8273 Main Street, Mokelumne Hill.
