Rogers Media is seeking a conditional use permit (CUP) to install three double-sided, commercial billboards on Hwy 12, 1.5 miles west of Valley Springs. The 3 billboards will be 8 by 16 feet and 14.5 feet above grade on pipes that will be 3.5 feet in diameter with an overall height of 25 feet to the top of each billboard. Billboards may be lighted at night. Is this what area residents want? Isn’t a Community plan and a General Plan update for the area currently underway?
Letters and emails from the public are needed before Aug.18th to inform the Planning Department and Planning Commission how the public feels about more billboards lining a main entryway into Valley Springs. Emails may be
