The event that occasioned this gathering is not known. The seated women in the center are (left to right) Emma Wells, Amanda C. Nuner, Anna Eliza Zumwalt, and an unidentified matriarch.

We don't know the event but have identified three of the women and it was taken about 1900. Perhaps someone knowledgable about vintage clothing could help provide a more precise date.

Does anyone know what the event wasand perhaps the date. Interesting that is mostly women and children.
