For our upcoming Turkey in a Barrel dinner (Saturday, Nov. 15), we are featuring homemade cakes and brownies this year for the desserts. For anyone willing to contribute a sheetcake or a pan of brownies, we gratefully and most appreciatively will be accepting your donated baked items in the Town Hall prior to the event. You may bring your items to the basement of the Hall the day of the event.

A meeting of the Mokelumne Hill Community Trust is scheduled to occur in the Moke Hill Library on Wednesday evening, November 5, 2008 at 7 p.m. We will be conducting "business as usual" as well as finalizing plans for the upcoming Turkey in a Barrel dinner, scheduled for Nov. 15. Town Hall Fundraiser a Huge Success!

On Monday night fans of the New Christy Minstrels Under the Direction of Randy Sparks and Moke Hill alike filled the Town Hall in a great show of support for the Town Hall Restoration Project. Spirits were high and a great time was had by all. The event put our town $8,000 closer to reaching fundraising goals that will support the renovation of the Hall.
