Thursday, Aug 23rd at the Mokelumne Hill Branch Library at 5pm a program from the Bancroft Library (UC Berkeley) Susan Snyder will read, and show slides from the book she has created from the photos in the Bancroft Library. Books will be available and Susan will sign them. Some of you may remember the last program the Moke Hill Library had from the Bancroft about two years ago.also with Susan Snyder. That was BEAR IN MIND, a book about the demise of the grizzly. The program began on Sport Hill where the Bear and Bull Fights took place.
Camping has always been popular, but it was very different from what it is today. It is fun to look back. Hope you can come.
