If at any time you want to change your account settings, you’ll see the link on the right side navigation menu (the menu with your name in it) titled “my account.”
My Account screenWhen you visit this section you’ll land on the View tab - see the tabs across the top? Use the next tab (Edit) to get to the edit page. That’s where you can change your username (real names please!), change your password, etc. You can upload a picture of yourself or choose another avatar. You can even add a signature (basically a tagline that appears below all your entries and comments), too.
The Notification Settings is an important tab – that’s where you tell the site to notify you of new content or to notify you when someone posts a comment to something you have written, etc. I’d suggest that you use this service, it’s neat. One of the best ways to keep on top of new content is to have the site send you daily "aggregated" emails, where you'll receive one email each day with short notes on all the new content posted each day.
