The Mokelumne Hill Cemetery District has 3 cemeteries that date back to the Gold Rush era.

Plots are available to residents of the Mokelumne Hill Cemetery District and family members who live outside of the district.

Community Trust

The purpose of the Trust is to benefit the people of the community of Mokelumne Hill, including, but not limited to providing for the acquisition, improvement and maintenance of places open for public use such as parks, playgrounds and public buildings; and to preserve the rich historic heritage of the community for future generations.

In short, if it benefits the people of Mokelumne Hill, the Trust is interested in helping.

The Mokelumne Hill Community Trust is Chartered as a Non-Profit Charitable California ( SE.501 (c) 3) Corporation.

Fire Association

The Mokelumne Hill Volunteer Firefighters Association (or MHVFA) is dedicated to supporting our firefighters in their efforts to support our community.

The MHVFA is a 501(c)3 nonprofit corporation registered with the Secretary of State, and all donations are fully tax deductible.

Friends of the Library

The Mokelumne Hill Branch Library was opened June?? after Teresa Moore, a long time resident of Mokelumne Hill bequeathed 2000 shares of Exxon stock to the community for a library. This enabled the citizens to buy and renovate a building in the center of town, next to the town park and deed it to the county to become the eighth library in Calaveras County, a central library in San Andreas and seven branch libraries. It operates under the liadership of County Library Director Maurie Hoekstra and Branch Attendant Brenda Nasser.

History Society

The Mokelumne Hill History Society was founded in 1985 to preserve and promote the history of Mokelumne Hill. Now sharing renovated downtown building with the Mokelumne Hill Branch Library, the Society focuses its efforts on preserving its archive collection and serving as a resource for the community.

Veterans Memorial District

The Veterans Memorial District was formed in 1960 by the Calaveras County Board of Supervisors. The current board members are:
