Mokelumne Hill

The original Mokelumne Hill Community Plan called for development of Design Review Guidelines to regulate construction within the historic district and in other parts of the town. This draft document attempts to meet that goal. Communities enact design review to protect the historic nature of their properties, districts, and communities.

The Mokelumne Hill Community Plan Task Force is in the process of updating our Community Plan. During the update, we have an opportunity to add historic buildings to the town’s list of Designated Historic Buildings (current list is in the back of your phone book).

Planning Task Force Meeting:

Jun 16 2008 - 6:00pm to 7:30pm.
At this meeting we will continue our discussion about design review and we'll also be discussing the commercial/flex designation and requests for land use designation changes. In addition, we will hear from Chris Neibur about the importance of transportation/circulation and land use.

At the (Air Conditioned) MH Library

The County is in the process of updating the General Plan. One of the things they will be doing is reviewing the various Community Plans to ensure that they work in light of any changes they will be making to the General Plan.
