History

Reason for joining: We are residents of Moke Hill and own a business here. We love the fact that there is a website to maybe bring visitors to our quaint town. We do not have a store here but have a website for people to purchase our products. We are Mokelumne Hill Nuts....yes...I know what you are thinking...we sell nuts, too. It would be a great place to list our business for people that are looking for us. We also love community events. For example the 4th of July parade and hopefully the continuation of the Octoberfest event. I just read in the paper the event of 1st Fridays in Murphys. The community meets the first Friday of the month. first heard of '1st Fridays' when we did a tour of Philadelphia. I thought it would be great for Moke Hill to have a `1st Friday'..no big deal..just a bunch of us getting together for BBQ and visiting.
